1. About The Qatar Talks
Our Legacy: 20 Years of Empowering Voices
Established in 2005, The Qatar Talks is the annual flagship initiative of International Competent Communicators (ICC), a non-profit organization founded on the principle of Community Social Responsibility (CSR). What began as a purposeful initiative has grown into a nationally respected platform, proudly marking its 20th Edition Grand Finale in December 2025.
‘The Qatar Talks’ is built around two distinct categories. The Youth Category empowers school students to develop confidence, clarity of thought, and ethical expression at an early stage, with schools playing a vital role in mentoring and nurturing young talent. The Adult Category brings together university undergraduates, young professionals, and adults, providing a platform for thoughtful ideas, meaningful storytelling, and persuasive communication in a spirit of healthy competition.
All registered participants advance through Pre-Qualifying rounds, assessed by independent judges using clearly published and transparent judging criteria. The most accomplished speakers progress to the Grand Finale, the pinnacle of the journey, where finalists perform at the highest level. Champions are recognised with cash prizes, sponsor gifts, and formal honours, celebrating excellence, discipline, and growth.
Anchored in ICC’s CSR-driven mission, The Qatar Talks continues to strengthen voices, cultivate leadership, and inspire positive contribution, affirming the enduring power of communication to shape individuals, communities, and the nation.
